Hello! I hope your having a great week! It's been okay over here, Ariel is still sick. Tuesday night she seemed so much better, than yesterday she spent almost all of it in bed or on the couch, this morning was the same but this afternoon she seemed so much better. Took her to the doctor today but she doesn't think she has strep throat but did a swab to be sure. I hope she's better and can go to school tomorrow, she's missed 2 days of school already! We've just been hanging out here at home, I've been getting lots of cuddles and crafting done!
Today I went and got my hair done! My hairdresser asked me to bring some cards for her and she bought 2 Mother's Day ones! So I'm still busy making Mother's Day cards! :> Today I have two to share using Hello Luscious stamps by HA and the matching papers by Basic Grey:
For the first card I embossed in white the flower on some blue paper that came with the pad, the leaves I embossed with some pattern paper. I also embossed the sentiment in brown and did a ruffle ribbon on the bottom from the back. The second card is mostly papers, I wanted to combine that flower with this paper and this is the card I came up with! I colored the flowers with pencils and both cards have flowers so I am entering them into this month's contest on the Hero Arts blog! I am also entering the first card into the current Simon Says challenge which is paper piecing!
