Hello! Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is having a great start! Last night I enjoyed having my friend Char over for some crafting! It was great! I really am lucky to have some great crafty friends too! It's one of the reasons I got into this hobby! My day had a great start when I saw that my tags were features on the Twinery's blog!!!!! YAY! I don't think I have to tell you how much I love the Twinery!!!
Today I am here with another fabulous Scrappy Saturday challenge from Wee Memories! This week our newest DT member Laurel joins us, so thrilled to have my blog friend Laurel on the Wee Memories DT! She is wonderful! This week our sponsor is Serendipity Stamps! We have a really fun challenge:
Our challenge is to create a Woodland Friends theme creation! (By the way isn't the badge this week too cute? I so love it!) Here is my card:
I decided to play with my new stamp, the Hero Arts Fox. Isn't he the cutest? He looks so curious! I made a boy birthday card by stamping the sentiment on the outside and stamping Happy Birthday inside!
My friend Char was due in an hour and I realized that I had nothing "special" to feed her! How could I forget? Oh I know the headache that's been on the horizon all week! And my list! But still it's not like me to forget! So I quickly made the decision to make some double chocolate chip cookies, that I haven't made in years! (If you came over to craft I'd bake for you too!! :>) Ariel actually told me that she does not remember these cookies and thinks I've never made it for her! How funny! And they are so good and chewy and fudgy I wonder, why has it been years? I was half done making it before the kids decided to join me and I so had to share this funny photo of Carter:
How funny is this? He loves his Future Viking's hat and wears it around the house all the time! Notice his bags under his eyes, poor little guy was woken up EXTRA early by his sister yesterday morning! He slept most of the afternoon but still looked so tired! Although now that I think about it I must have let him sleep too long as he was running back and forth through the house and bouncing! We took them outside to play in the snow which was a great way to burn energy!
Well I hope you've enjoyed this post! And I really hope you join us this week at Wee Memories and play with our challenge! Don't forget to check out the Wee Memories blog here and check out my fellow DT
s creations and welcome our newest member, Laurel!!!
