Hello my friends! Hope your are having a delightful week! I apologize for my absence I have been creating quite a bit but it's been for submissions :> Not sure where May has gone but it's been a great one! Busy with two nights of soccer and one night of gymnastics! And spending any moment outside when it's not raining!
I wanted to stop by and share two wrap creations for Moxie Fab World's Gift Packaging challenge! I enjoy creating wrap! Well if I get to it early and not if I leave it to the last minute!
I wrapped the box with kraft wrapping paper, added a doilie, ribbon a prima flower and some lace that I sprayed pink with Tattered Angels Spray mist (It's so fun to do!) A very pretty gift box!
Than I made this more modern gift packaging:
Just tied a bow with bright pink ribbon around a white box, stamped a maya road tag with a Hero arts stamp in bright pink (too tired to remember or look) added a button and there you go! Best part the recipient slides the ribbon off the box later can reuse it, easy to slide back on!
Well that's it for me folks. Today tired me out! Taught how to make shamballa braclets in the inner city at lunch, the girls loved it! Quite easy you could do it too, youtube shamballa bracelet! Kinda fun making jewelery. My first try wasn't he greatest had to remind myself, hey when you started making cards you sucked! Than Chad and I went out for lunch, picked up the kids early from school to see a movie (only 20 minutes! Otherwise we wouldn't have made it) And we went to see Epic! We had a buy one get one free coupon plus movies are half price on Tuesdays (meaning they don't break your wallet!) It was a good movie but not for kids under 5 I think, heard a few kids crying from fear! Carter got a little scared and wanted to sit in my lap (love that!) Came home and made dinner while the kids played outside! So happy with our new neighbors, they have a little girl who is the same age as Ariel and they play so well! Really makes me happy!
Waiting for Chad to come home so we can watch Mad Men! After years of me asking him let's watch this show he finally gave in. And guess what he loves it too! We are already on season two! Only thing about watching a series of a show is stopping and not watching another episode let's go to bed! It's opened up all sorts of conversation between us! I took a history course in university on the 1960's in America so it's not as shocking for me! Until he gets home watching the series finale of Body of Proof, sad to see another show go!
Until next time! Hope it's sunny where you are!

Dot Love!
Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Sunday! This weekend is a long weekend here in Canada and we have been enjoying our time together! It's also been raining, a lot! It always rains during the May Long weekend! Oh well it's been quite nice outside it's nice to stay in and craft!
I wanted to pop in and share a card that fits into this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch! When I say fits in I mean almost exactly but here's the kicker, I made this card at least a month ago! I've never shared it online or anywhere so I can enter it to this challenge. When I saw the sketch I was so surprised! Here is the sketch:
And here is my card:
I am also entering this card into the Sweet Stamp Use Your stash challenge, details can be found here.
I used the Sweet Stamp Shoops set Kissing! I heat embossed the heart with gold powder, sponged tide pool ink by Hero arts along the edges of the card and stamped the dots with tide pool, orange soda and butterbar by Hero arts. Funny story I've been calling Butterbar butterball not sure if you've noticed, I may have even submitted cards to publications and called it Butterball! LOL!
Had a busy and fun day planned, church than lunch at my parents and a birthday party at kidcity (fun indoor kids laying structure) But woke up to finding that Ariel threw up over night and is sick. Asked her why didn't you wake us up? I was too tired! Why didn't you call for us? I was too tired! Sweet to find out that Carter found her this morning and got her new pajamas and helped her get dressed! Right now he is feeding her pancakes! First time Ariel is sick in over a year though, and that's pretty great!
Well that's it for me folks! Off to finish up a wreath order and oping to stamp today! Tonight going out with a few girls!

Mother's Day Wrap!
Hello! I hope that you had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Wishing all my fellow mommy friends a Happy Mother's Day! I did! I woke up to a little voice pleading with me to wake up and open our presents! So I did! I love seeing the gifts that the kids made for me! You can just picture your child at school making the craft for you and thinking of you while they make it! That's why handmade gifts are the best! Enjoyed church, lunch and house cleaned by the kids, a nap and an evening with Chad's family!
I wanted to pop in and share the wrap for my Mother in laws gift! Entering this wrap into Moxie Fab World's Gift Packaging challenge! I also realize that I have a few wrap projects that I can share this week! Along with a pressed body powder I bought my MIL some loose tea from David's Tea! David's tea is a Canadian company and there tea is amazing! So popular here and I love it! I've been watching my diet more closely and I try not to eat after supper, instead I drink tea and David's tea is so good that it makes it so much easier not to eat! When you buy David's tea you get a blue paper bag that has there logo on the bottom, I decided to use the bag for my gift but I decorated it! I made a pocket and put a small card inside:
I also decorated the bags of tea, here you can see everything:
I used papers from Pebbles Sunny side collection and Hero arts stamps: Scalloped flower, tropical leaves and celebrate everyday (sentiment) This was fun to make!
Yesterday Chad took a shot of us, sadly the best photo is a bit blurry (boo)
They really are growing too quickly! What a blessing it is to be there mom! I always wanted to be a mom and it's even better than I imagined it could be! I've been blessed to be a stay at home mom to them and I love being with them! They really are great kids! Looking forward to the years ahead! :>
By the way don't forget about my May RAK giveaway (see sidebar) to one lucky commenter from all May posts!

Kids Mother's Day Crafts with video!
Hello! I am happy to share two kid friendly Mother's Day Crafts on my blog today! I am sharing these crafts on a local television show here in Winnipeg, Breakfast Television! If your stopping by here from the show welcome!
So happy to share that the clip is on Youtube so all my crafty friends from all over the world can watch! On pprevious times we have been on it hasn't been on youtube so this is great! You can watch it here.
The first craft to share if the Tissue paper flowers!
Aren't they pretty?
These flowers are similar to tissue paper pom poms if you've ever made those! Here is what you need:
Tissue paper
Pipe Cleaners
1. Cut tissue paper into 5 by 7 rectangles. Stack 15 pieces together (any less it won't be full enough)
2. Accordion fold the tissue from the long side. Twist end of pipe cleaner around the middle of tissue paper. Cut edges either round, or pointy. Carefully from the top pull each piece of tissue paper up and slowly work down fluffing each piece!
Another craft that we shared is a candle decorated by the child! This craft is fun and a nice touch to have in the home!
Supplies needed:
Light colored candle
Tissue paper
Acrylic Paints
Wax Paper
Blow Drier
1. Cut tissue paper slightly smaller than candle. Place wax paper under tissue paper and have child paint picture onto tissue paper. You can also color tissue paper with markers but this need to be done carefully as to not rip tissue paper (painting is a lot easier)
2. Let picture dry. Wrap tissue paper painting around candle, also wrap wax paper too,. Heat blow drier onto candle, as you do this you can see the tissue paper melt and the painting adhere to the candle! This part should be done by an adult as it can get hot! And there you go!
Here are some photos from today!
Thanks for stopping by!

Thank You for Everything!
Hello Friends! Hope your having a delightful week! :> We sure have been! The weather was summer like temperatures so we enjoyed lots of fun outdoors! It was almost like we were melting after a long winter! The warm sun felt awesome! The kids have been going to bed so well and I have been finding myself exhausted by the end of the day too and going to bed earlier! It's a bit cool today but typical spring weather! Carter started soccer on Monday and he is doing so well! This is his second year playing and he is doing much better! He plays twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays! Ariel is taking gymnastics on Thursdays! She loves it!
Today I am back with another Mother's Day card to share! Only a few more days left till the big day! You know the best day of the year!
I love Lovely Mum's by Mama Elephant! The flowers are so pretty and I like how they come both full image and not! The Thank You for Everything sentiment was one line but I held it up to the light and carefully cut it in half so I could stack stamp it like I did. I like how it looks better and it fits better! Used some sequin trim that i picked up at Fabricland! And used Hero Arts looped flower backround stamp!
It's been a busy week so far! Working on wreath orders, tomorrow I teach a class to the inner city teen girls and on Friday Ariel and I will be on Breakfast Television sharing some Mother's Day crafts! I had plans to make Mother's Day gifts but I think that may not be happening sadly! :< Oh well do that I can right?
Well that's it for me!

Petals and Stems Mother's Day Card!
Hello! Happy Sunday! Enjoying a great Sunday started with church and this afternoon taking Carter to a birthday party! Wanted to pop in and share another Mother's Day card! Friday was a great day, started with some happy mail the Petals and Stems stamp set and sequins from Avery Elle! Than I was thrilled when I got two projects picked up for Paper Crafts Nov/Dec 2013 issue (1 card and 1 treat!) And I sold a wreath on etsy! What a happy day! I got another local wreath order yesterday too! So I had to break out my new stamp set and create:
I actually found the kraft card stamped already with Hero Arts Dot Flower background with my cardstock so I decided to use that! Stamped the flowers with Hero Arts inks: Tide Pool, Splash and Cup of Joe, added a Paper Smooches die to frame the sentiment! I feel that this die really brought this card together! Added some sequins, love that Avery Elle's sequins come in a color blend makes it so easy to find the color you want or to add more than 1 color!
Well that's it from me! Thank you for stopping by! :>

Hello Crafty Friends! Friday is here! The weekend is here! It was a busy week this week so glad it's over! Spending today close to home! Much needed! Happy it's sunny after dreary weather, and yes snow on Tuesday! Hopefully it's our last snowfall for the season! Come on Spring!
Today I am stopping by to share one of my favorite cards published in April's CARDS in the baby section:
I always love to see how they stage and photograph my cards and this month is truly inspiring! I love the aqua background pulling the aqua of the card out and the pretty little tulle skirt that the card sits on! :> I was delighted when my friend Nina told me that a snippet of my card was featured in the editors note! This is actually the second time, the first was July 2012 but I didn't know until later when i received the issue. So thrilled about this:
I also wanted to share the winner for my April RAK who wins this stamp set by Hero Arts. I picked through all the comments left in April on my blog, looking at the blogger comments page makes it easy, the winner is:
