Lovely Mum's!

Hello!  Happy Monday!  It's a windy cool day over here, at least it's sunny, not sure when Spring will be coming as it snowed again yesterday!  Today I am here to share a card I made for the Mama Elephant sketch challenge!  With my love of flower stamps I suppose it comes as no surprise that I had to have the Lovely Mum's set!  If you've been following me for a bit you will also know how much I love heat embossing.  Not sure what it is but I do love it.  Not going to lie that since gold embossing is quite trendy right now I am one happy girl!  If I could emboss all day I would!  Yay for gold!  I came up with this card idea while I put the kids to bed.  Chad was out with some guys, so with the movie Here Comes the Boom (he saw it I didn't yet) I set to work and created this:

I stamped and embossed all the flowers from the set, I masked the flowers as I did it.  I did each flower at a time stamp pour powder heat emboss wait till cool put mask over top repeat.  It was going so great! Than....as mentioned in my last post I don't usually not so much anymore stamp at night while making this card I remembered why.  I screwed up on the very LAST flower!  COME ON!  Are you kidding me?  By this time it was close to 11!  I was so excited about my card idea, the house was quiet, who knew if I would follow through tomorrow am!  I had to make it now!  Than when I made the mistake I knew why I don't usually....    Instead of leaving it (I came so far!) I had to finish it.  And that's how I ended up making my card even better!  I heat embossed two of the flowers and fussy cut them, one to cover up my mistake the other to go with the design!  Finished with a strip of gold cardstock, some sequins and heat embossing one of my favorite ME sentiments!

Yesterday after church we went for lunch with some friends and there three kids!  It was quite fun!  As the kids get bigger it's easier to go out with them to restaurants and friends and there kids!  My friend called me later though to ask how my kids were, her son threw up when they got to there van and her daughter was non stop!  Oh dear! So far so good over here!

I don't think the grocery store we usually shop at have these carts!  Both kids just managed to fit in them and I wheeled and spinned them around even though I came for 1 item!  They loved it!  :>  So did I!  Wouldn't trade it for anything...
