Hello! Yay it's the weekend! :> And it's beyond beautiful here! It's supposed to get to plus 26 Celsius here today! Absolutely crazy here in March! :> But we are enjoying it! Last night Chad went out with some guys for a guys night so I invited my girlfriend over with her three girls! We had a nice relaxing evening and the kids had a lot of fun!
Today I have a card to share using a new stamp Watch Gears by Hero Arts! I really love this stamp for making masculine cards. This is a card I made for my Father's in laws birthday!
I embossed with chestnut zing powder the watch gears onto a white card. Than I embossed it again onto some patterned paper by Authentique and paper pieced some of the gears and popped it up with foam squares. Distressed with antique linen ink by ranger and tied some twine and there you go a masculine card! :>
Happy St Patricks Day! My card isn't a St Patricks day card but it does have green on it! :> Do you celebrate? Us not so much. I had thought to make the kids green pancakes but Ariel is feeling a bit under the weather so it doesn't seem like the greatest idea! My kids have not been sick very much this school year, when they do it's very slight and not that bad and they get better so fast! :> Yay to healthy kids! :> Although she did want to cuddle this morning and I very much enjoyed it! :>

I hope that you have a great weekend! I've gotten lots of new stamps lately and am happy that I feel like my mojo has returned. It went on strike for a bit and I was frustrated, I really enjoy creating! Yesterday I made a card that I love and felt so happy! I will share it later this week. :> I love the feeling creating something that you love brings, you really realize that when you've lost your creativity for a bit! :>

I've been trying to find my mojo lately too, Anita. Looks like yours is back with a bang! Love this fabulous card for your father-in-law! Are you joining the 90-minute scramble later today? Hope so! Hugs! :)
I love this card! You did a great job making something special with this stamp (which of course now I have to add to my wish list!)
You have it back in lots of glory with this wonderful card, Anita! I had no interest in this stamp until I saw what you did with it - totally cool! Great for a guy, too. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful masculine card, Anita! I have quite a few Zing powders, but not that one--may have to get it now. I know what you mean about not feeling creative--took me 3 days to put a card together. Maybe I'm trying too hard. Enjoy your w/e! Hugs, Greta
love this too much... the colours are so beautiful !!!
New stamps always make me happy.. I got a lot on Friday and am itching to try them out... blast having to work this week! Could easily stay home and craft. I really like the card you did for your FIL. Super masculine stamps
I hope Ariel feels better quickly! I adore that stamp! Think I need it :)
That is a gorgeous (in a manly way!) card! I really love all the little detail in your embossing and paper piercing!
I hope Ariel is feeling better!
Just love the pattern on your paper-pieced watch gears, Anita! So great for a guy! We're having balmy weather here too - I keep wondering when reality will come back??
I love the embossing! I also love how you popped up and embossed some on PP! Fantastic little creation you cranked out! :-)
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
Superb masculine card Anita! Love the paper pieced elements!

What an awesome card, Anita! You are the master of masculine cards. I still remember your one with the washers you stamped on. It's filed away for inspiration someday!
Sorry, that was me! Accidentally clicked anonymous while trying to send.
