Hi everyone! I hope that you are having a great Saturday! We have a busy weekend full of family gatherings! It's going to be nice to see some distant family! And take the kids skating for the first time. On a whim we decided to buy Carter skates too (they do come that small!) and he surprised us with how well he walked around the house on the carpet with it (your supposed to do that so they learn how to balance in them) The next morning he shocked me when he walked up to me when I was laying in bed with the skates and said "Hockey! Hockey!!!!" I than hid them! Should be an interesting day for sure!
I am here with another great Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge! This time we are sponsored by Limelight Papercrafts! They are actually closing the store so there are some great deals so make sure to head over there and check it out! They have provided a great prize of a Patterned Paper prize pack for the winner of this challenge!
Our challenge this week is to CASE our favorite designer. Well this was hard! I spent ALL WEEK THINKING and LOOKING AT YOUR BLOGS! I just didn't know who I wanted to CASE, I mean I am inspired by so many of you and want to CASE you all but I had to pick one. And it was soooo hard! So who did I pick? Maile Belles! I love her clean and simple style that still wows! When I first saw her work I was so amazed by her CAS style and it really influenced me to not be so fussy and to make things shine by being CAS. I love her blog and love seeing what she comes up with, I didn't CASE a card, I CASED her style. Here is my card:
I made a thinking of you card as I need a sympathy card for someone. I embossed the Blooming meadow stamp in black on the pp, it's actually a scrap that didn't emboss well on the bottom so I cut it off with the die cut! I stamped the sentiment and added buttons!

First off, Happy Belated Birthday Anita! Thank you for your comment and for directing me this way. What a treat this morning to have received your sweet email and to see this beautiful creation!!! Perfect button placement, if I may say, I love your use of the scrap and how the colors pop off the black card base. Thanks for making my day!
