Well today the day is here, Ariel's first day of grade 1!!! She is officially a full time student now going to school every day, :< I could tell she was nervous today and she told me that the first day is scary! :< But once we got to school and found her desk and put all her shiny new school supplies out she was over it! I could see it on her face that she was fine and happy to be there! Oh did that ever make me feel better! I really tried not to cry but I did in the hallway! I may just be one of those mom's! :> Today I am babysitting my friend's 3 boys and it has really been helping to keep me busy and not think about it! So here are a few photos from her first day:

When she came home all she could talk about was how much fun she had at school! She told me that she can't wait to go again! :> That makes me so very happy!
I do have a card to share today. I made it last week. Pretty simple but I really enjoyed making it!

Anita, look how sweet Ariel looks! So glad she liked her first day of first grade. My youngest son, who also started first grade, ran in without even turning around to say goodbye! I stood there for a minute thinking, "Well, that was rather anti-climactic!"
