Hello Happy Saturday! I hope your having a great start to your weekend! A better one than me. My daughter got into my cardstock. I guess I accidentally left some of it on her craft table! Oh my! She is crying since I took it away, but I can't let her have my PTI and Bazill cardstock! I did let her keep what she cut up, and she did cut up more than I would like!
Today I am here with a new Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge! We have a great sponsor this week, Market Street Stamps! Market Street Stamps have such cute stamps and I really enjoyed playing with this rocket from Blast Off! They stamp so well too!
Our challenge this week is Stamp It! I love stamping and I know so many of you do too so what an easy challenge!!!
I colored the rocket with my derwent pencils and mounted it on some starry paper that I had in my stash. Finished with some twine from the Twinery. I also added some glossy accents to the window! My daughter just told me that "you can add a happy face inside the window mommy!" I liked stamping the sentiment on it's side. Making boy cards isn't always easy for me but this rocket makes it super easy!
We've had a rainy start to our long weekend over here. Apparently it's rained here every Victoria long weekend for the past 6 years! Yesh after such a hot week I guess we can't complain but it's too bad it worked out that way! We had a great time at the softball game last night. The kids love playing outside with other kids and I enjoy chatting with the wives!
That is an awesome boys' card Anita! Love all the fun colours! I also like sentiments on their side from time to time, it looks great here! Ok, so mine cut her hair and yours cut you cardstock! Ok, cardstock cutting wins the "worst thing you can do" award!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fabulous boy card, Anita! I love the offset panel and the lemondrop twine. Yikes on leaving your good cardstock out and Ariel wanting to keep it. That's hilarious what Brenda wrote above! Enjoy your long weekend even if it is raining!
ReplyDeleteThat paper is perfect for the cute rocket! Love this, Anita!
