Hi there, welcome to my blog! I hope you have come from the talented Mary Dawn . When I saw that the talented Kelly Marie Alvarez was putting together a blog hop for Cards for Kids I had to take part because I love the Cards for Kids card drive. And any excuse to make more cards for them! So happy your here! While you are reading this I am at a kids amusement park with my two kids and 13 of there friends and mommies. Please pray for me!
I created a set of cards using a fish set from Hero Arts, because there are a lot of good fish jokes online! And I really like to make cards for the kids with jokes, I find it so easy to find jokes that co ordinate with stamp images that I have.
What fish goes up the river at 100mph?
A motor pike!
What lives under the sear and carries a lot of people?
An Octobus!
What fish are musical?
Tuna fish!
I stamped the fish and than colored them in with pencils. I got the idea of the fish going in different directions from my son Carter's sleeper! What I did to make a layout for the fish was place the stamps on my fiskars stamp press in a design and than turned it to stamp the fish differently. I thought I would share this since it made it so much easier. Here is a photo of my stamp press and my stamps on it, please ignore how lovingly used it looks:
Well there you go thank you for hopping on over here! Your next stop is the talented Lucy. I can't wait to see what she has created!
Also just to let you know today is my blogaversary and I am doing little giveaways everyday this week, there is a giveaway the post before this, and later on today I will do another. :> Enjoy the hop!
