Mommies Getting All Ready

Hello!  I hope that your week has been off to a great start!  Over the weekend I lost my voice which is never fun!  I had lost it in the fall also although this time it's not as nearly bad.  Thankfully it's coming back and I was able to go to a playdate at a friends.  The kids played so well and us mom's had a good time chatting!  I can't sing yet and I love to sing, and sing a lot through the day.  At night time when I put Carter to bed I hold him in my arms and together we sing Rock a bye baby and Jesus Loves Me.  I tried to just get him to do it but no he insists that I sing too and the look he gave me when I did with my lost voice, priceless!

Oh and because I can word it funny I am going to share with you that last night we switched spouses with some friends.  Now don't go worrying I am not that kind of girl!  No my friend Karla came over here to watch a movie, and Chad went over to her house to hang out with her husband.  It was great I got girl time, Chad got guy time!  And it didn't involve having to get babysitters or a spouse staying home with the kiddies while the other got out!

Today I have a birthday card to share with you.  I love that one of the current challenges at the Hero Arts blog is birthday cards.  I am so sure I am not the only one needing to grow my stash!  I absolutely hate it when I need a birthday card and forgot to make one or don't have one on hand, shame on me!

And it's out for publication!

And I am entering this into a new to me challenge site, ABC DT challenges!!!

Well I hope you enjoyed my thought on the card today!  I so love being a mom and wouldn't give it up for anything!
