Getting Ready all Kissed Up

Hello!  It's just about Tuesday here and I am quite awake and hyper!  (Maybe that's why my title is silly??)  My husband is out on a guys night seeing the movie Hall Pass and wings with this friends.  I will admit when he told me that he was seeing the movie with the guys instead of me I was a bit put off!  He had better get no ideas!!!  All in fun I know he won't and I love him so!  :>  Tonight I was a bad mother as I didn't want to really cook so I made waffles with apples in caramel sauce on top!  Don't ask me how making my own waffles from scratch (and having to find a new recipe as I threw out the old one!) was supposed to be easier!  Oh well it was soooo yummy!  This is the only the second time when I have made breakfast for dinner, I've finally gotten over how weird it is!  The kids loved it!

Today Ariel had a friend over for a play date.  You know my kids love each other but like siblings they do fight physically sometimes!  Ariel pushed her brother in front of her friend and I really enjoyed hearing her friend ask her "How could you do that to your little brother?  He's little!!!"  She was so shocked!!  Ariel was at a loss for words for how to explain herself!!!  LOL  I took the moment to let them know I heard and told Ariel that her friend didn't think it was right and it wasn't!

I have a card I made using some new stamps.  I've gotten a few new things lately and boy is creating so much easier!  I feel so happy and full of creativity.  Is it bad that I am trying to get my husband notice how new crafting supplies make me happy?  :>  Here's my card, very feminine:

I inked the Getting Ready Silhouette stamp with light pink ink and the envelope pattern  with brown ink and kissed the stamps together.  I so love the look it gives, so much richness and texture!  I made this card as fast as I could as I was fighting daylight!  This image cries out for ruffled ribbon so I added some on the bottom! This is one of my favorite colors combos, I often find myself buying clothes for Ariel in these colors!

Well I better go, Chad has just come home with a "doggie" bag with wings for me!!!  Aren't I lucky?

Hi Anita! Love the way your card turned out - I'll bet we'll be using this envelope pattern for years to come! And breakfast for dinner? We do it occasionally, too, and it IS fun just to change things up! I'm reading this in the morning and now you've made me hungry!
