Scrappy Saturday Challenge 21!

Hi everyone!  I am here with another Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge!  I am so glad that it's Saturday of a long weekend!  Lots more time for crafting and spending time with the ones we love!  This week our sponsor is Digital Stamp Characters!  With a fabulous prize of 4 digital stamps!

I am also quite excited about this week as I got to choose the theme!  When I saw our sponsor's images I was so excited!  And came up with a challenge so easy:

Wee Ones! How perfect of a challenge for me, at where I am with my life, the stay at home mommy of two special wee ones!  Basically a card for a child, or a card with a child on it easy!  Here is my card:

I was so excited to play with this stamp as my daughter Ariel loves swings.  When we go to the park (which is often) she spends about 90% of her time on the swings!  I love swings too so I often swing beside her!  Even my son Carter enjoys the swings, although at just 2 he doesn't like the baby swings any more and wants to sit on the big swing himself.  The scary thing is that he can actually do it although the whole time I worry!  Ariel loves this card!  I colored Pure Innocence with my derwent pencils and than cut her out without the .  Than I attached crochet thread to her with glue and tape and wrapped it around tied it to the branch from Hero Arts.  I don't have any cloud dies (yet) and I cannot draw good clouds so I cut out the clouds from the Hero Arts background stamp and than pined it to the felt and cut the felt.  This card is such a great representation of Ariel's summer!

When I was printing out the digital stamps I made some coloring pages for Ariel.  She loves to craft so much and I knew she would love it, and these images are perfect for her!  I knew that since it was something that I color too it would be more special.  As soon as she woke up she wanted to color and since Ariel wanted to so did Carter!  They loved it, Ariel later told me that I was a great mommy and she loved me so much and thank you!  Here is a photo of them coloring (what a funny photo of them!)

How cute is that?  Ariel loves to color and will sit forever coloring, maybe she can get Carter to love coloring too, how nice would that be 2 quiet coloring children?  Lately being at stay at home mom has been easy, Ariel and Carter are playing together all day long and happily!  They have always gotten along and played together but not like this!  It's so cute to see Ariel go to her room for some alone time and Carter start bawling at her door and her opening it and letting him to play!  I hear giggles from them all day long!  And one of the best things that happened this week is that Ariel loves chickpeas and Carter hated them.  I didn't buy them for a bit but the other day I did and Ariel was so excited and eating them.  I gave some to Carter and he put his bowl on the island (finally got him to stop throwing it!)  Ariel looks at him and asks him "Carter you don't like chickpeas?  They are my favorite!  I love them!  You gotta try them!"  Well Carter pulls his bowl down and eats them and asks for seconds and thirds!  They finished them all in a day and a half!  Crazy!  Love how he loves his sister.  And love how she loves him back!

Well I hope you can play with us this week!  I love seeing your creations!  And I also love your comments you leave me!  In case you've missed it I would love it if you enter my giveaways HERE and HERE you have until Monday September 6th!

I love your story about the chickpeas! Our food likes and dislikes are so much dictated by feelings more than taste!
